Next window, ctrl-tab

In older PL/SQL Developer versions, ctrl-tab would take you to the previous editor window. It used to basically cycle through the history of the windows that you accessed.

In version 12, it cycles in the order of windows in the Window List.

Is it possible to get the old behaviour?

No, this is currently not possible. It always cycles through the physical order as displayed in the Window List and on the SDI tabs.

I have added an option for this to the list of enhancement requests.

I rather like the new way of doing it myself.

It will be a preference option, so that you can choose between the physical order and "most recently used" order.

We have been waiting for this option since version 12.
At present, under certain conditions, we still use the old v11.
Is there a schedule for this?
