MySQL and MS SQL SERVER

I am using this tool since version 2 of it, There are many reasons Why ORACLE are top of their competitors and one big reason is PLSQL DEVELOPER other database developer really miss a wonderful IDE.

Recently my new organization ask me to work on MySQL and MS SQL SERVER I wish this tool available on these databases also. Any Plan for this?

I'm hoping the answer is "no, as I'd rather they continue their tight focus on Oracle.

Testing comes to my mind first!

For every change that is made, it has to be tested to see if the new stuff worked and that it doesn't break any old stuff.

Then, there is support on the forums. Marco would have to do at least twice as much.

We think it's best to have a lean, mean, specialized tool for a specific platform.

I too share this frustration. I am a longtime user of PL/SQL Developer and absolutely love it as a development tool for Oracle.

Some third-party tools my company uses were upgraded recently and now require SQL Server. It's so depressing not having a PSD equivalent tool to use when I have to dig into one of these databases to query them.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
