Hi,

Would it be possible to have the taskbar pl/sql developer button show the icon followed immediately by the schema@database name? This would help me keep straight which is which. Right now they all look the same. Better still would be the ability to specify the text in the project options that would show next to the icon.

I understand that in order to connect to different schemas/databases, it is necessary to run multiple copies of pl/sql developer. An alternative would be to let different windows in the pl/sql developer logon to different schemas/databases. I wonder if you know if one is better in using fewer resources in windows?

Wouldn't the task bar icon be kinda big depending on the user name and database aliase name? Though that's user opinion I suppose.

Plus if I understand you correctly let your mouse hover over the taskbar icon it will popup a tool tip/hint with the information you are asking for. Not as easy to see that info but tells you the same thing without making yoru taskbar icon half the size of the taskbar.

I have added this to the list of enhancement requests. I'm not sure if the taskbar title can be definied independently from the application title though.

Thanks, I didn't realize that the tool tip showed when the cursor is over the taskbar icon. That does help.
