Just thought I would pass this on -- I was hit by the msblast worm. I thought I was "patched" but unfortunately was not. PL/Sql Developer would start, but if I attempted to open a sql window, the program would crash, with the message to send the log file to support. If I opened a sql window again, I would get "SQL form already exists" or something like that. Then a bunch of error windows popping up.
At one time, the program simply closed with no warning. The patch from Microsoft fixed it and all is running fine now.
As an aside, another issue we ran into is that Javascript becomes disabled for some reason. I haven't heard anyone else mention this particular problem with the worm, but we had a heck of a time with it. So, if you get some weird errors on web sites, it may be the cause. Again, applying the patch seems to correct that.
Hope this helps!
