Monitor of sessions in Services.

We have a webserver application (implemented in Delphi). This application uses DOA to connect to oracle.

We can not see the sessions when using Oracle Monitor.

Is there any way of doing this?

The Oracle Monitor needs to run on the same machine where the application runs.

Hi Marco,

I have the service installed locally - the service connects to two databases. One on my local machine and one on a separete server.

I do not see any of these sessions in Oracle Monitor. I suspect that the problem is that the session is opened for a service???

We have also tried to "monitor" session from an Apache server towards a Oracle database. The Apache server and database installed on the same machine as Oracle Monitor. We do not see any sessions. Are there any properties that need to be changed after installation?

I assume you included the OracleMonitor unit in the server application?
