Missing features in v16

My employer recently upgraded me to version 16 but I'm missing several options that I was pretty much attached to.

- I can't find the option to get multiple tabs in more than one row. I thought the setting User Interface/Options/use multi-row tabs was for that but that doesn't seem to do anything. I'm very much missing the overview when I have more tabs open than one line of tabs can hold.

- Is there a way to disable the lint? There was in previous versions. Due to some impairments, I need access through the keyboard very much, but with the lint, this is pretty cumbersome (yes I found the option to enable the alt key anyway - why would someone want to disable that???).

Also, when I alt-tab to another application, the shortcut letters stay visible in that application which is pretty annoying. I have to restart PL/SQL developer to get rid of that, and after some time it happens again.

Thanks in advance, Koen

For the window tabs this option is indeed no longer available.

You can go to Preferences > User Interface > Appearance and click on the "Switch to Menu" button.

This will be fixed with the "Switch to Menu" option as well.

Thanks. The setting User Interface/Options/use multi-row tabs is still available in the Preferences screen. I thought it was for stacking the tabs?

Why was the Window tabs stacking feature removed? I found that very useful. Now I have multiple clicks to get to a window that isn't in the visible part of the tab list. A step backwards, IMO.

We had to replace the UI component for the window tabs, and unfortunately the replacement component does not yet have a "multi-row" option. This feature may return in a future release though.

Multi-row tabs in the window tabs is the ONLY place where they are really useful! I just wanted to report this as a bug, only to read that this feature is no longer available. Please add this feature back as SOON AS POSSIBLE. With more than a few tabs open the tabs are now almost impossible to navigate 😕
