When executing a statement that takes at least a couple of seconds to execute, I usually click on the Output tab to "get ready" for the output. But instead it goes back to the SQL tab when the statement finishes and I have to click on the Output tab a second time. (I seem to remember it didn't do this in some previous version.)

We'll fix it. I guess the SQL Window navigates to the SQL tab page to display a result set, but this may not be appropriate.
