Logon to Oracle DB 9i R2

I found that PLSQL is unable to connect to Oracle 9idb R2, I can connect to 8i, 9ir2, but when connect to R2, the program will crash or display nothing in all the tree list.

PL/SQL Developer works just fine with 9.2. Maybe there is a compatibility or cofiguration issue with the Oracle client software version. How exactly does it crash, are there any error messages? Can you go to Help > About, press the 'Info' button, press the 'Copy all pages' button on this info screen, and send this text to me by e-mail?
