hi,

we have 6 computers and 6 employees and we need to use pl/sql.

is possible to order five licenses and install and use in the 6 computers? or we have to adquire a 10 licenses pack? or we have to adquire a five licenses pack plus a single license?. Please explain me if you can, a little bit more about the licensing.

If we purchase the licenses now, but two year after we decide to upgrade to a new version for example, what do we have to order?

Licenses are per named user. So in this case you would need 6 licenses (5 + 1, or a 10 user license pack).

Upgrades are covered by the Annual Service Contract, which entitles you to receive new versions and technical support for the period of 1 year. Without the service contract you are entitled to patch releases of the purchased version (e.g. 7.0.x).

Named user means that is a license for a network user for example? If we connect with the same network user and install in the 6 computers is this legal?

Named user means a real person. A 5 user license can be used by 5 persons.
