Sometimes (not always) when I try to register a macro(F11 or mouse on icon), the program doesn't respond to neither the keyboard nor the mouse.
The only way to get out of this, is to press CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring up TaskManager, then move TM-window briefly on the screen and finally closing it. Then the program is responding again.
(I have no idea what is happening here, but this trick is often useful when keyboard hangs)
