JPG in Blob-Fields

Hi,

what's the best way to read and write jpg-Images from/into a blobfield (I want to save them as jpeg, not as bitmap). The shipped example only works with bitmaps. Does anyone have an jpg-example? How do I show them in a TImageField?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a shareware/freware DB Aware JPeg component?

I use a component called ImageEn. The price is reasonable and it supports JPegs and the other major graphic formats for Delphi 3 to 6. It does have both DB and non-DB graphic components. The URL is http://www.hyrix.com.
