It is probably just me, but where did the tooltips go to?

I have been working on Win 2k for so long, now that I am back to Win XP Pro I find things that I have to stop and reset.

The tooltips should be available, regardless of the Windows version.

I just noticed that they are working now. I did restart the pgm, so maybe ...

tool tips are doing a funny appearing/disappearing act for me. any hints on what might be causing that?

I tried restarting the program but the tool tips are not reappearing.
