Home and End keys issues in the program window

Just upgrade from Version 6 to 8. Love the new version overall. But notice the Home and End keys don't work the same way as version 6. Those two keys use to bring the cursor to the beginning and end of the line, but now nothing happens by pressing Home and End keys. Wondering why?

In the preferences, key configuration, you can assign the Home-End keys to the Editor:Start of line / End of Line commands.

btw, what do you say for the "page up, page down" keys? These keys are working differently in V8, it goes down to the bottom of the page, instead of scrolling one page. If you want to see the next page, you have to press pg.dn twice, and you will not be able to go back to the original position, when you press page up.
Ctrl+Backspace is an other drawback of the "new" editor.
Font rendering quality is an other. (Cleartype international characters are unreadable)
The SQL Output of the Test Window, does not have any otpional toolbar button.
And many more minor disadvantages, so I'm still using V6.
