Global Nav Buttons

Hy,

how can i get access to the Global Nav Buttons?
I put the to my toolbar, but they are only shown in grey and are disabled.

As soon as some absolute editr navigation has occurred, the navigate back button will be enabled. As soon as you navigate back, the navigate forward button will be enabled.

A jump to an absolute (non-relative like page down etc) postion. For example: find, hyperlink navigation, go to line, go to error, go to bookmark, and so on. Any navigation where finding the previous location is not trivial.

ok,

is there an restriction in the 7.0 trial?
(i'm on that version, because we havn't yet a new key for full 7.0)

On all described jumps the buttons stay gray.

Strange. Can you send me an exact description of a Find operation that does not enable the navigate back button?

In my opened PL/SQL Dev i open the find dialog (CTRL-F) and enter the searched string, after that, i hit the search button. The following occurencies i search via F4 (search next).
So looks after a "normal" search.

I tried out the global search bar, but it's the same...

Hm, i remember, the earlier this morning the buttons were active and function as well, but now they are greyed out again ?

I can only reproduce this if I subsequently close the window (navigation points are now gone). I'm sure that's not what you're doing though.

Perhaps it a "problem" with my windows. I use Win2k and do not shutdown my PC in the normal way. I use the hibernate function.

Could this lead to the Problem?
