Feature Request: Option to configure export to Excel

Hi,

I would like to be able to configure how data from the grid is exported to excel:

- include/exclude row number column
- either use default page layout from Excel or provide options to configure margins, page-orientation etc.

This is a nice-to-have wish, not something of high priority. But I'm currently extracting much data from a database to provide raw data for data analysis to someone familiar with excel. It would be a bit simpler if I don't need to delete the row number column or provide some basic formatting to the sheet again and again.

I have added this to the list of enhancement requests. Note that you can already make an arbitrary selection of columns to export.

Hi Stefan.

You can get rid of your row numbers by selecting only columns you want to include in your export.
