Feature Request – Add Close (X) Button in “Window List” for Open Documents

Hello,
I would like to propose a usability improvement for the Window List feature in PL/SQL Developer.

Current behavior​

The Window List provides a convenient overview of all currently open documents/windows (SQL Windows, Program Windows, etc.).
However, currently:

• There is no direct option to close a window from this list using a simple UI control
• The only available method is via context menu:
  • Right click → Close Window

Requested enhancement​

Add a direct close option in the Window List, such as a clickable “X” icon next to each listed window.

Practical use cases​

This would be especially useful when:

• Working with many open windows simultaneously
• Quickly cleaning up workspace
• Using the Window List as the primary navigation tool

Currently, closing multiple windows requires repetitive right-click actions, which slows down workflow.

Benefits​

Adding a direct close control would:

• Improve usability and efficiency
• Reduce number of interactions needed to close windows
• Align with common UI patterns used in modern applications
• Enhance the overall window management experience

This is a small UI enhancement that would significantly improve daily productivity.

Note that the window will close if you hold down the Ctrl key or Shift key when you click on a window in the list.

I understand. I'm not good at keyboard shortcuts, I prefer to use the UI.
