Error message: "Canvas does not allow drawing"

I get a popup message "Canvas does not allow drawing" whenn I tried to import a table (PL/SQL Developer format).

Is there a way to avoid that?

Yes, for all tables and all the time.
And I cant use the SQL export/import as I have som blob fields.

I can't immediately reproduce this. What is your PL/SQL Developer version and Windows version?

PL/SQL Developer V 5.1.0.654
Windows 2000
512MB RAM
Oracle 9.2.0.1.0

~12 Tables with with a total of > 3M records!

The size of the file is ~450Mb.

Does memory usage increase until this error occurs? In that case it would seem like a memory leak.

Yes, this is exactly what append. I have a nice
graph showing the increasing memory usage before the crash. I don't know how to attach it to this post....

Is it a know bug and if yes do you have the date of a release with a fix?
