On our hosted environment Excel is not installed.
In the results grid context-menu, the option Copy to Excel does not work properly; we get the error "Error opening document". However, the real error is, that Excel.exe does not exist.
Is it possible to add an option "Save to Excel" to the context-menu, which asks the user to give the name and location where to save the Copy.
Having the Excel copy has the advantage over .csv, that not only the grid with results but also the query is saved in the .xls file.
Furthermore.
This option can also be 'nice to have' in the Explain Plan window.
Saving a query and its execution plan is something I do quite frequently, but I have to cut and paste both query and the Explain result grid.
