Enhancement Request: logon

I would like the Logon dialog to have the Recent node automatically expanded when the dialog displays - then I just need to double click the user I want. Others might want some other node to be auto expanded, so this should be configurable.

Or, how about being able to define one userid/db as default and the Oracle Logon dialog will automatically display at PLSD startup - just like the old days (which, for this case, I think was better).

thank you, and have a great weekend!

I have had the same problem.

Solution: you open the connections dialog from within PLD (Tools - Connections) and expand the node that you want as default. Then you close the connections window again (if you do not want it in the GUI as default) and goto the Window menu and press Save layout.

Then the default layout of the connection tree is saved, even for the next time you log on.

Strange workaround, but it works ...

Claus, Scott,

Excellent info, this helped immensely! Also I found that if I deleted all my imported history that the entire dialog stopped coming up and it just went back to the traditional logon prompt (with the ellipses icon for recent history).
