We make a lot of use of projects as a fast way to group files that have a common goal. But it would be wonderful if you could inclued in this group files such as functional specs, design specs etc. These would typically be HTML documents or perhaps .DOC. It would be nice to be able to include these in the project items. It would be absolutely fantastic if I could launch an editor for them too.

In the upcoming PL/SQL Developer 7 you can add any file to a projects. The application associated with the file type in windows will be launched when you double-click on such a project item.
