Enhacement: Control default names in the Windows List

I would like to add these to the enhancement list.

1) The ability to set in the options that all new windows use the "Short Text" option by default.

2) You add a new option "Terse" that would only have the object name or file name without the window type prefix or @database suffix.

Other users, if this would be a benefit to you please respond to this thread so that the development team can gauge demand.

1: If you enable the Short Text option and select "Save Layout" from the Window menu, this will become the new default.

2: I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.

When showing e.g. a package name when opened from the database, the package is showed as SCOTT.MY_PACKAGE@MYDATABASE
How do I get PLD to omit the username and alias so it will only display MY_PACKAGE in the window title?

If you have long database user names and long alias'es, it can take up quite some screen real estate in order to be able just to see the package name in the window list.

If you like using plugin, The plugins "sailor" has the option to display only object name in windows list panel.

Thank you Marco on the tip about "Save Layout". That does help the situation greatly.
