editor window freezes for a few seconds after copy

hi,
editor window freezes for a few seconds after copy. i press CTRL+C or right-click /copy and i notice that the window is unsable for a few moments.
anyone seen this as well?

Can you let me know which PL/SQL Developer version you are using?

hi Marco. latest available. 12.0.2.1818. i have turned off the clipboard feature for now and problem is resolved.

Just curious... Do you have Outlook open when having those problems?
Many tools lose their hickups when you close Outlook S

I'm using PL/SQL Developer Version 12.0.7.1837 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 Enterprise.

Every time I copy something the PL/SQL developer freezes for some (up to 30) seconds.

Also on other occasions like startup, connect, compile, runs sql, etc.

By the way - I tried the hint with outlook, it didn't help..

Do you have the clipboard feature activated?
We deactivated it in our environement, because we had a lot of performance issues with it.

Thanks! I tried that and it seems that the freezing after Ctrl-C and Ctrl-X is gone - but it still freezes on a lot of occasions and it feels a lot slower than PL/SQL Developer 11 was...

Btw: i noticed yesterday, that in my actual environment it's also a bad idea to have DebugSQL Parameter set by Default.
Don't know why, because in earlier environments this never was a problem.
