Double-click word selection

Something which is a constant pain is the inability to double-click a word to select it. It seems to me that this is a Windows standard action, yet in PL/SQL Developer you have to double-click the right-most letter of a word to get reliable word selection.

Is this a bug? Is it a preference?

I spend 8 hours a day in PL/SQL Developer. Fixing this little irritatation would really make my life more pleasant!

Thanks!
Jeff

What is your PL/SQL Developer version (Help > About screen)? We did apply a fix for this.

That should be okay. We'll look into it again. I don't suppose you can reproduce this consistently? If so, how?

Yeah, I can reproduce it every time I open PL/SQL Developer! The problem is more obvious when I use my middle button, which uses the Microsoft IntelliPoint software to bind the wheel button click to the "Double-click" action.

However, I can reproduce it using only a manual double-click on the WhatsNew.txt file that shipped with PL/SQL Developer.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this. I can doubleclick hundreds of times without any problem, and I can bind the doubleclick action to any button I like.
