Displaying record contents in debug

I have created a variable using xx%ROWTYPE and would like to see the contents of that variable in the watch window while debugging but can't seem to find any information on how to do this. Treating it as a record and trying View Collection Variable doesn't work. Anyone know how to do this (without "breaking out" the individual fields into other local variables)?

This is indeed not possible. You can only view the individual record fields.
