My PL/SQL Developer 5.1.6 Hangs Periodically, may be at an interval of 10-15 mts. That time I can see my CPU utilisation going to 100... So in effect my system itself is hanging... After a few seconds may be 10-15 secs PL/SQL Developer will be back to normal.... Can anybody help me to avoid this...

Are you doing anything in PL/SQL Developer when this happens? If so, what? If not, does it help if you disable the "Check Connection" preference?
Can you go to Tools > Preferences and verify how your Backup options are set? Maybe there is a save interval?
Great Sir... It Worked. I disabled backup option. Now its not hanging. It was taking backup in every 5 mts. Now its working fine... I was very much getting irritated with that during work. All my colleagues asked me to use some other developing tool... But I cudnt find any other tool better than this and I was sure, that there will be some way to solve this problem.. Any way Thanks alot..
