When will the Command window work correctly when describing a table over a dblink?

desc table@otherdb

I hate opening SQL*Plus just for this.

Will this be fixed in PLD 8.0?
I guess this is a long standing issue - I believe the first time I saw it was in 2007?

This is really frustrating - I either have to open a new instance of PLD connecting to the remote or use SQLPLUS!!

Anyone in favor of this fix?

It will not be in 8.0.0, but it is planned for an 8.0.x release.
