Ctrl-Del when assigned to File/Close doesn't work

the Ctrl-Del key combination assigned to the File/Close menu item doesn't work.
Just nothing happens after pressing Ctrl-Del

I'm using v.7.1.1.1339 on Windows XP

what might it be?

Apparently this key combination is intercepted by the editor (though nothing happens in the editor). We'll check it out.

Wow, It seems this one was fixed in version 10 !
Not that it's really important though
