Create Synonym Issue

Attempting to create a synonym using the Create Synonym Screen. When I start typing e.g. TE the screen switches it to ET. This happens for any second character that I type.
So for instance if you wanted to type TEST - it would end up as ESTT.

Sorry - this happens when I type something in the OBJECT NAME field.

I have noticed a similar bug when typing in the name of the owner I want to search in with the 'Find database objects' tool (and in other places too, like the parameter fields in test windows). Indeed I would end up typing 'YSS' instead of 'SYS'. The cursor seems to move to the beginning the moment you typed the second letter and then prints it there, making the first letter stay at the end no matter what else you type.

This is fixed in 8.0.

Not that I doubted you, Marco but I can confirm that this bug is fixed in PSD 8 Beta.

The original problem still exists in PLD8.0 Beta 1.

I can't reproduce it though:
- not in the Find Database Objects window
- and not in the Create Synonym dialog

Problem persists in PLD 8 Beta 3.
Problem seems to occur only when you have an 'Object Owner' populated with a value.

I cannot reproduce this with 8.0. Can you post a detailed description in the Beta forum?
