Compiler Hints

Really useful feature but how do I close the compiler hints window.

You can't. I have added this to the enhancement requests.

We are running 5.0.1.

On my machine the compiler hints appear.

On another machine the compile hints do not appear. How do I make the compiler hints window appear on this machine?

Compiler hints can be enabled/disabled through the Program Window preference page (Tools > Preferences > {Program Window). Maybe this explains the difference?
