When we compare user objects how to change the source schema? I am able to do that for the target but not for the source.

Hi Theod,
I do not have permission to login as that particular account. Both in the source and the target the user I login as is different from the schema I am comparing user objects for.

Hope it makes sense.
Thanks,

Hi arun_rs,

as Marco wrote here
you need to connect as the object owner.

But if this feature to 'change' to source schema' would be realised, you would must also have the permission to login.
Like PLD now ask for user/passowrd@db for the destination it would ask for the source. So there are no different permissions.

@Marco: Am I rigth?

Hello Theod,
Let us take an example. User 1: scott, User 2: todd. Say I am scott and you are todd. Say the administrator has given me (scott) to execute as well create/alter/drop todd's procedure/functions/packages then I do not need to login as todd to do that. I can login as scott and still compile/read todd's package.
If you give a good look that feature is already available for the Target Schema but not the source schema.
If you are still unclear please let me know.

Thanks,
