command window doesn't exit on exit

Hi,

the EXIT command in comand window doesn't work, but
EXIT APPLICATION work.

It would be also great to have an "EXIT NOSAVE" witch simple closes the window without asking for save.

Yes, when typed-in in an editor tab. It works on command prompt in dialog tab.

Yes, and I expect this behavior. If it does exit after running the script from the editor, I'll be unable to see the output, unless I generate a spool file.

Hi,

as you say, for some cases it is ok to have the window stay open. So don't use EXIT then.

In my case I don't have an output.
I use it (like a tool-script) in the browser-extender BE, to do something, and I won't close the window expizit and won't be asked for save.

The same happens for me, if I start an Report from BE. There I get also the question to save my Report. But there nothing to save.

Hi,

I got your point. We include the EXIT in scripts because they must be present to run fine with our Deploy tool.
