Command window does not support recover.

Hi,
Why Command window does not support recover statement? e.g. I issue "RECOVER DATAFILE #7" and get syntax error while I can do it in SQL*PLUS with the same user.

The command window supports all SQL and PL/SQL commands (as found in the Oracle SQL and PL/SQL reference manuals) and the commands listed in chapter 7.3 in the User's Guide.
