I vote for a full classic layout option.
It is much more easy for programmers (like me) even if ribbon is collapsed.
E.g. menus most important commands are reachable by click menu scroll down (only vertical!!!) and release mouse-click. An elegant very simple action.
For the same action with collapsed ribbon using, I click on ribbon header, search for the command (vertical and horizontal!!!) and then have to click again (not only release mouse-button).
I know, I'm old fashioned. But PLEASE give me back the loved menus.
