change to shift-HOME key functionality in editor

Hi

We just upgraded to PL/SQL developer 7.1.4 from version 6 (i.e. 6.0.6 and up) here at work.

I've been using for most of the day - things seem to be fine except for one thing I have noticed.

There appears to be a change in the way the shift-home key works in version 7. It's different then it was in version 6 (specifically 6.0.6).

In 7.1.4 when the cursor is at the end of the line, you could do shift-HOME and you'd select the entire line including any white-space at the beginning of the line. Now in version 7 (specifically 7.1.4), when the cursor is at the end of a line, shift-HOME selects just the line from the end to the start of the text. It does not include the white-space in the selection.

In version 7 I can do shift-HOME to first select the text from the end of the line to the start of the text excluding whitespace. If I then do shift-HOME a second time, I can then also select the white-space in the rest of the line.

I would like this back to how it worked in version 6 (or at least some kind of editor option) to allow shift-HOME to select the entire line including the white-space at the beginning.

Is there an option I'm missing to restore the functionality back to the pre-version 7 method?
Is there something I can do to restore the version 6 method?
Could you please look into it?

thanks muchly!

bye

Bill
