I am trying to upgrade from D610 laptop to a D630 laptop. I have PL/SQL installed on the old machine with Oracle 10g.
The same were just installed on the new machine.
Both have a Windows XP operating system.
I can not login to any Oracle databases on the new machine, even though it has the same operating systems and the same versions of PL/SQL and Oracle 10g installed as the old one. I've already set my preferences on the new machine to match the old one.
When I try to login to any Oracle database, I get a small error window that does not contain any error number or description, just an OK button. If I click OK, I am directed back to the login window. Eventually, PL/SQL just opens without logging into a database.
Can't find anyone to help me correct. Can you help? Thanks!
