Cannot delete items in Watch list, while debugging

While in debug mode, I added one variable to the watch list, then went to delete it right away. I right-click its name and chose Delete Variable(s). Nothing happens.
Clear works fine, but that's not what I need

If you click on the row header of the variable to select it, you can subsequently right-click to delete it.

OK, I have to click the little pencil icon, to the left of the variable name. That highlights the row (variable name and its value). Then right-click to delete it.
