Hello,
I would like to report what appears to be a theme-related inconsistency in PL/SQL Developer.
This results in visual inconsistency within the application.
Best regards,
Adrian
I would like to report what appears to be a theme-related inconsistency in PL/SQL Developer.
Environment
- Color theme mode: Auto
- System theme: Dark mode (Windows default)
- PL/SQL Developer correctly inherits the dark theme in main application windows
Issue description
After enabling and opening the Query Builder module, the window loads using a light theme instead of inheriting the active dark theme from the application. This results in visual inconsistency within the application.
Expected behavior
When the theme is set to Auto, and the system is using Dark mode, all application modules — including Query Builder — should consistently inherit and apply the dark theme.
Observations
- The main application UI respects the Auto theme setting.
- The Query Builder appears to ignore it.
- This suggests that Query Builder may be using a separate or legacy rendering configuration that does not follow the global theme settings.
Impact
While this is not a functional issue, it affects:- UI consistency
- User experience
- Accessibility and comfort
Best regards,
Adrian
