Bug Report: Install of 7 on Win NT

o woe is me!

The version 7 just downloaded yesterday installs just fine on Windows 2000 pro, but on Windows NT it fails miserably!

I am hoping that the I/O Error 112s are some security setting - I'll get back to you on this after I track down the LAN guy to see.

But, all the VC++ directories are giving 'invalid filename' msgs.

This is not good (I'll have to reinstall my ver 6 because I took the defaults on the first try, ouch)!

update 1: now, after doing ignore on the VC++ errors, I am getting the same invalid filename msg on Preferences/default/default.ini !!!

yikes, what is that about?

Well, that's better now!!!!!

The problem wasn't what I thought initially. It turned out that there was only 5M of free space, so those errors were really not what they said.

Is there no check in the installer for enough space to do the install?
