We just tested this on Ubuntu 24.10, and Preferences > Key Configuration leads to 0.0% CPU usage from the plyxon process. Is there anything special we need to do to reproduce this? Does this only happen on the Key Configuration page, or elsewhere as well?

Only on this tab. I tested again and 0% CPU is until I scroll with mouse wheel or right scroll bar.
So scrolling on this tab caused this issue in my case.

Ah, the scrolling does indeed reproduce the issue. We'll try to fix it.
