Beautifier and Union Queries

The beautifier doesn't handle union queries well at all. This has been a longstanding issue...today I tried to beautify a package that had several union queries in it, finally had to terminate PLS forcefully after 15 minutes of non-responsiveness. Any chance that this will be addressed?

This is indeed a known performance issue (to a point where it becomes unusable). I don't have a concrete date for a solution yet.

And, again today, had to kill the application after 20 minutes because of the union query beautifier bug, losing work in the process. Is it likely that this will ever be fixed?
