This problem has been around since I started using PSD at v8. I now have the latest version installed 11.0.0.1762 and the issue is still there.
I have a very large SQL file that I use for all projects, adding more code to it each day. Periodically, when I add a new SELECT statement at the end of the file, and press F8, the auto select fails because it misses out the S of the SELECT statement. If I select the entire statement with the mouse and then press F8, it works fine, but this defeats the purpose of using auto select.
I have sent an email to your support address with a screen shot showing the failure, and also my support info.
