A multi-home configuration problems

I've got 3 homes. Using 'Home Selector' program I changed a primary home, but it seems than DOA chooses the previus one still.
How does DOA determine Primary Home? Can I use not primary home from my program?

The Primary Oracle Home is the home that is listed first in the PATH environment variable (its BIN subdirectory). This is the one that Direct Oracle Access will use in a Multiple Oracle Home configuration.
