Oops, I was looking for the fixes that I reported yesterday and thought I'd found them in the 801m patch (aka version 8.0.0.1495) that was mentioned here somewhere.
But since installing that, I don't see some of dialog windows, particularly the Error or Confirm Overwrite. That is, if you do File->Save As... and try to save over the same filename, it would prompt for overwrite. But I no longer see that.
My coworker, who just installed this patch release, pointed it out to me. I'd installed the release yesterday but didn't noticed it right off. Then I thought it was caused by me undocking my laptop and using it at a different resolution than normal, or because I have a dual-monitor setup. But if he's getting the problem too, it's not caused by undocking/redocking.
He's also got dual monitors, but in a different configuration than me. He also rebooted, which normally cures that problem.
So I think this is a real bug, sorry to say.
Feel free to move this post to the appropriate spot.
Thanks and good luck,
