We have released Plyxon Beta 2 with the following enhancements:

  • Result set "Copy as HTML table" function now places HMTL format and plain text on the clipboard
  • Result set double-click now directly invokes the Text Editor or Large Data Editor if applicable
  • Result set character data with multiple lines will now show the first line with ... instead of the text <Multiple Lines>
  • New editor popup function "Copy as HTML"
  • MacOS installer is now a directly installable package (.pkg) file

The following fixes have been implemented:

  • Editor block selection could incorrectly select all text from the top
  • SQL Document could incorrectly warn about file changes
  • Copy function of the Large Data Editor was enabled for "unknown data"
  • The last line in an editor could be obscured
  • Key Configuration did not work for some keys on Linux (e.g. Ctrl-/ and Ctrl-0)
  • Result set copy would add escape characters for quotes and linefeeds
  • Database connections by connect descriptors will now show as host/service_name instead of the full descriptor
  • Editor match highlighting did not work correctly when horizontally scrolled
  • Account Configuration did not automatically start with the selected account
  • Removed Oracle Client dynamic linker requirements (LD_LIBRARY_PATH or ldconfig) on Linux
  • Object List search criteria ending with a comma would cause a hang-up
  • Forms could be resized too small, causing errors
  • Hyperlink navigation (Ctrl-Click) now switches between specification & body when clicking on a public function or procedure declaration
