Problem description:
I have access to a database with around 1,000 views defined. Plyxon hanged completely for at least 30 seconds (I've switched to PL/SQL Developer window and can't get back to Plyxon) after clicking on the "Views" folder icon in the database objects list (this docked left). Then the Views "folder" was folded, and I had to click on it again to see the list of views. After that operations, the closing of Plyxon lasts for about 40 seconds.
Expected behaviour:
- For long operations, Plyxon shouldn't hang. Instead, it should somehow show that it's working in the background. Maybe some progress bar or at least "Fetching" icon should show that the program is working.
- When list is loaded, it shouldn't be closed.
- Closing program should be faster in my opinion.
Disclaimer:
The database is remote, and I don't know how fast/slow the connection is.
Edit:
The same problem occurs (with not so long hanging period) on much smaller Sequences list. "Fetching..." icon didn't show.
