Hi,

I'm getting an error whenever I right-click in PL/SQL Developer. I am running version 15.0.2.2054. It was also happening on 15.0.1. The error just says 'Wrong PixelFormat'.

I haven't been able to test this yet, but I wonder if a key cause is that I am connected via Remote Desktop to the PC that is running PL/SQL Developer. It will be a few days before I am in the office again to investigate that theory.

This is quite restrictive because I cannot get to the context menu anywhere in PL/SQL Devloper which is slowing me down quite a lot as there are some items that don't seem to be able to be set up with keyboard shortcuts.

Cheers,
Rowan.

Thanks Rowan (hi!)

I was just considering upgrading a virtual PC to the latest version - I'll hold off for a while.

I may be wrong on the cause, but as no-one else has reported it on here that would suggest it is specific to my setup and that is a complication that some systems find difficult, and it probably less common for people to be using.

I don't think I'll be in the office till the second half of next week to test it to see if it works OK without being on remote desktop. I'll update on here when I do get to test it.

Cheers,
Rowan.

I have had a chance to test it without remote desktop, and I am still getting the error, even after a reboot. So it seems my theory of it being related to Remote Desktop is wrong. What else could be causing it? Are there any logs that would be helpful to identify it?

Cheers,
Rowan.
