Hi,

I have the same behaviour like Zakko in #61486 04/22/20.
If I use shortcuts with CTRL key and than press any other key, at first the character pressed before with CTRL key appears.
For example when I press CTRL + C (copy) and than press a key, C character appears in the window instead the rigth key.
This occurs by using any CTRL combination shortcut, like CTRL + A, CTRL + V, CTRL + X etc.
Now i have installed 14.0.0.1961, but I tried also PL/SQL 13 and 12.
I tried re-install PL/SQL, more times, cleaned the registry and application data, but this problem persists.

User Zakko solved the issue by restarting the PC. I assume this does not help in your case?

Can you go to Help > Support Info and send the text from the "Info" tab page to support@allroundautomations.com?

Hi Marco,

indeed, restarting the PC didn't help. We tried much more with my colleagues, really.

I've sent the Help > Support Info > Info tab page per e-mail.

Hi,

I am getting the exact same problem using both 14 and 13 versions of PLSQL Developer what is more quite frequently PLSQL Developer gets into a loop where it keeps refreshing the screen and not responding to any user input which makes it very hard to use. It has been really solid up until now and I have been using 13 for over a year on the same machines. For information the issues seemed to co-incide with me installing Citrix Workspace on my laptop. I am getting this on a desktop running Windows 7 and a laptop running Windows 8.1, both with Citrix Workspace.

A solution for this would help me immensely.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

you're right, I had to install Citrix because of my client and in the same time this problem appeared!

This can be probably important information, thanks for your response.

Same here, I've got Citrix installed too. But I can't exactly recall, whether this issue occured right after the installation or anytime earlier/later.

I got the same issue after installing Citrix Receiver. Uninstalling Citrix and restarting computer fixed it, but now I cannot use Citrix.

I remember Citrix installer asking something about preventing key loggers, so that might be related somehow.

Can you download the current 14.0.3 version and apply the ShortCutFix parameter to the PL/SQL Developer shortcut? For example:

"C:\Program Files\PLSQL Developer 14\plsqldev.exe" ShortCutFix

You can also add the parameter to the Params.ini file in the PL/SQL Developer installation directory. Add the following line:

ShortCutFix = 1
