It may seem a minor issue, but I cannot seem to get it to recognize the underscore.

We have in one database a large number of tables named CZ_* which I often want to look at. However there are a larger number without the underscore.

I have tried quoting, adding the % character, all to noavail.

Is this a bug or something for which there is a wortkaround?

This is 12.0.7 under Win 7 and/or under Win Server 2008 R2

How do you define where clause?

object_name like 'CZ\_%' escape '\'

It is currently not possible to use an escape character for the filter. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.

@Marco - Can you not just allow the underscore as a search element?

@IvanZ - this is in the free text field in the object browser

In the upcoming version 13.0 you can use the backslash as an implicit escape character.
