I just started using the PLSQLDoc View Documentation as a replacement for Describe (after the first use of PLSQLDOC on an object, when it is generating the document, it is much faster).
Anyway, I see it
- if I generate doc on a package, I think PLSQLDoc should just go ahead and generated for both the spec and the body AND display them both
- the index listed the spec and body together
- entries in the spec not only linked to the spot in the spec's document where it is defined, but somehow also linked to the body's doc (maybe click the link in the spec to go into the spec where that program unit is defined and then in the definition there would be a link to take you to the body's doc)
- the categories in the index (Packages, Tables, Views, etc) where collapsible and that by default the first display of the index was with all categories collasped
