Update: the outline of the highlight of the edit line disappears when opening a new program on top of PLD, for instance an explorer (not maximised). When moving the explorer away from the editor window of PLD, the dotted outline disappears where the explorer windows was previously. This does not happen to other graphical elements of PLD, only to the highlight of the edit line.

When will the problem with the artifacts be solved? It has been a known bug since at least October 2009.

From the list of enhancements in ver. 11.0.4:
Editor with long lines and highlight edit line enabled would not draw text correctly
Almost solved in ver. 11.0.4: the artifacts are now gone, so thanks to the developers!

But when you move a non-maximised window in front of a window with the edit line highlighted, a part of the highlight disappears when focus is shifted back to the original window. Showing dialogs, like rightclick in a database source, select Compare To and Current database source, the Examdiff dialog (files are identical), will remove parts of the edit line highlight. When navigating in the window again, the edit line is redrawn correctly, so it is only a small visual error now.
